DealerOn’s Implementation Process
Welcome to DealerOn! We are excited that you chose to partner with DealerOn where your journey to a world class website and ongoing support starts with our Implementation process. This information is intended to familiarize you with the five stages we take to create and deploy your website. Your collaboration in this process is critical in making your site the best it can be! With that in mind, we’ve included an expectation of your engagement at each stage. If everything goes smoothly, we expect to get your site live in 30-60 days!
1 Stage 1: Initial Communication
You will be assigned a dedicated Project Coordinator (PC) who will guide you through the entire build process. The PC will send you a welcome email outlining all needed onboarding information to start your project and request available dates for the Kickoff call. This call will outline our process in detail, discuss the design of your site, and go over any initial questions you have. This is also a good time to schedule your Content Management System (CMS - Back End) training.
Your Effort: 2 Hours
2 Stage 2: Building Your Site
Once we have all onboarding information identified in Stage 1, your PC can begin building your website. This includes creating your homepage, bringing over custom pages from your current site, implementing third-party tools, ordering inventory, adding in your lead email addresses and more. During this time, we suggest you sign up for our Content Management System (CMS - Back End) webinar with our excellent Training team (if you haven’t already done so)! This training will teach you how to navigate and use our CMS, where you can make basic updates to your website on your own!
Your Effort: 1 Hour
3 Stage 3: Review your Staging URL
It’s time to review your new website! Your PC will send you a Staging URL, this link is a fully interactive mockup of your website, including all pages, inventory, clickable buttons, etc. When you’re ready, you and your PC will review your desired edits to the site and ask that you make the required DNS updates in preparation to launch. Our team will also start the Quality Assurance testing process on your site to ensure that everything is working properly. Once all edits are complete, we will also be submitting a Compliance review request, if applicable.
Your Effort: 2 Hours
4 Stage 4: LAUNCH!
It’s time to Launch! All edits are complete, and your site is ready to go live. Your PC will send you an "Authorization to Launch" form for you to sign and return. Once they received this, your website can go live.
Your Effort: 1 Hour
5 Stage 5: Post-Launch
Once your site is up and running, we will introduce you to DealerOn’s Award Winning Customer Support team who will assist you with any future edits, requests or issues that you may have.
Your Effort: 30 Minutes
